Graspop Metal Meeting festival is officially cancelled. The event will return from June 17th to 20th, 2021.
Just like the German event Wacken Open Air Festival 2020 , Graspop, which takes place in Belgium, will also not be able to occur due to a government measure prohibiting large gatherings until the end of August. The festival was scheduled to take place in June.
In announcing the cancellation, the festival organizers stated that they will do everything possible to bring together as many names as possible from next year's lineup This year's headliners Iron Maiden , Faith No More , Judas Priest , Korn , and Aerosmith . The statement concludes with the phrase we've all lived with since the beginning of the pandemic, "Stay metal, stay safe, and take care!"
