Frank Watkins was 47 years old
Former Obituary bassist Frank Watkins passed away this past weekend at the age of 47, a victim of cancer. Watkins joined Obituary in 1989 and left in 2010. The musician joined Gorgoroth in 2007.
Gorgoroth posted a tribute on their official Facebook page yesterday: “Rest in peace Frank Watkins (February 19, 1968 - October 18, 2015). He will be greatly missed .” The Obituary also posted a short statement: “We have just received the sad news that Frank passed away this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family .
