Gojira announces new album and releases new single and music video; check out “Born For One Thing”

The mystery : the French band Gojira has announced their new album, Fortitude , which will be released on April 30th via Roadrunner Records. And to further excite fans, the group shared the second single from the project, following "Another World ," the track "Born For One Thing," which comes with a music video.

“We have to practice distancing ourselves from everything, starting with real things,” says vocalist Joe Duplantier about the anti-consumerist message of the new song, which was partly inspired by Tibetan and Thai philosophers he read in his youth in France. “Have fewer possessions and give away what you don’t need, because one day we will have to let it all go, and if we don’t, we will become just ghosts trapped between dimensions.”

Fortitude will be the band's first album since Magma , from 2016. Check out the video for "Born For One Thing", and below, the official album cover and tracklist.
