Gojira returns to Brazil after an incredible show at Rock In Rio.
For the fifth time in our country, the French progressive death metal quartet returns after just over a year since their last performance here. The band was a headliner on the Mundo stage at Rock In Rio 2022 , scheduled as a replacement for Megadeth .
The performance was highly praised for its "power, speed, stage presence, and breathtakingly frenetic setlist," as we described in our review of the show at the Rio festival .
Now imagine witnessing a full show, with a longer setlist and in a more intimate setting… Without a doubt, this is a unique experience for Brazilian fans, who don't always get the chance to attend these joint tours that are so common abroad.

The setlist will still focus on promoting Gojira's latest album, the highly praised Fortitude , considered one of the best rock and metal releases of 2021. At the time of its release, the album entered the US best-selling list , reached number 12 on the Billboard 200, and achieved the top spot on the Current Rock Albums and Current Hard Music Albums charts, in addition to reaching number 2 on the Current Internet Albums and Vinyl LP Albums charts.
After the album, the band released the single “Our Time Is New” , a track that is part of the soundtrack for the EA Sports NHL 23 and carries a powerful social message. “If you care about something meaningful to you and your community, (…) you are the lightning, the spark that will shape our world. Your time is now! Our time is now!”, explained frontman Joe Duplantier .
