When Legends Rise is Godsmack's latest album.
Godsmack has released an energetic video for the title track from their latest album, " When Legends Rise " The track was number one on American rock radio for four consecutive weeks. The video is being released in preparation for this weekend's NFL playoffs. It showcases live performances by the band juxtaposed with great moments from recent American football history.
The band was chosen as Rock Artists of the Year by iHeartRadio, with two songs in the Top 1. “Bulletproof”, from the album, was chosen as Rock Song of the Year.
Asked about what inspired the songs on the album, frontman Sully Erna explained: “It was about developing myself as a writer. I wanted to spread my wings even further. To use my experiences to introduce a new, fresh, mature sound. But still maintain the power of Godsmack.”
