After four years, Godsmack is back with the new single “Surrender”. The track will be featured on the band's eighth studio album, which has not yet been named.
“Surrender” is Godsmack’s first new release since the gold-certified When Legends Rise Sully Erna explains that the message is very direct.
“It’s a song that gets straight to the point,” he says in a statement. “It’s about the exhaustion we can all feel in relationships sometimes because of the redundancy of arguing with each other. At a certain point in our lives, we commit to letting go of who’s right or wrong, we just want it to stop. So we wave the white flag.”
