On Godsmack's official Facebook page, frontman Sully Erna stated that the track serves as a thank you to everyone who supported the band and commented on the song's theme: “This song is about equality for all! About the idea that no one is worth more or less than anyone else. We are all equally important human beings and should be treated that way. And for those who feel the need to put others down to feel superior, you need to look deep inside yourself.”
