Go Ahead and Die , a death-crust band, releases the music video for "Desert Carnage," the opening track from their second album, Unhealthy Mechanisms .
The band features Max Cavalera on vocals and guitar, Igor Amadeus Cavalera also on vocals, guitar and bass, and Johnny Valles on drums.
“Desert Carnage” was composed by Igor Amadeus Cavalera and has a music video depicting an apocalyptic scenario based on the Arizona desert. Regarding this, he commented: “'Desert Carnage' is an explosive and fast-paced song, as hot as the Sonora desert. The barbaric theme of the song arose from the cruelty and inhospitable terrain that is the desert, as desolate and cruel as a place can be.”
Unhealthy Mechanisms will be released by Nuclear Blast Records this Friday, October 20th. The album was created by the Cavalera brothers and "is another chapter from this band that draws inspiration from dystopian themes and helps the listener delve into the madness of modern society and the pollution that devastates our minds."
The album was produced by Igor Amadeus Cavalera and recorded by John Aquilino at his Platinum Underground Studio. Arthur Rizk , who had previously worked with the group, was brought back for mixing and mastering, and the cover art was created by Santiago Jaramillo of Triple Seis Design.
In addition to the digital format, the album will be available on acrylic CD, red cassette tape (limited to 400 units), red vinyl with black splatter, and white vinyl with black splatter.
