On the evening of last Sunday, the 20th, Judas Priest welcomed Glenn Tipton to the stage at the HEB Center in Texas to play the encore with the band.

As is typical of the guitarist, Tipton played the tracks "Metal Gods," "Breaking The Law," and "Living After Midnight." Some fans filmed the moment and shared it online.

Glenn Tipton was a full member of Judas Priest for almost 40 years, until he retired from the stage in 2018 due to a worsening of his Parkinson's disease. The guitarist was replaced by Andy Sneap , but he sometimes joins his bandmates on stage during the encore to reminisce.

In December, Rob Halford confirmed that Tipton is working on the new Judas Priest album. “Glenn can still play guitar. He plays differently, but he can still do it,” commented the vocalist. “He’ll be on the next record. Anything he does is valuable. He’s very important.”
