Glenn Hughes tests positive for COVID-19 and a replacement is announced for The Dead Daisies.

The musician is doing well and is quarantining at home while the band continues the tour.

Glenn Hughes has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be part of the remainder of The Dead Daisies European tour. His replacement has already been announced, and for now, Dino Jelusick ( Whitesnake ) will fill in on vocals and Yogi Lonich on bass.

In announcing the news, the group wrote : “We are sad to announce that the dreaded virus has affected us again with Glenn Hughes testing positive and unfortunately unable to continue. He is doing well and please do as we do and wish him a speedy recovery.”

The band also confirmed that the tour will continue, but those who wish to request a refund for their ticket will be offered that option soon. The tour will include stops in France, Switzerland, Germany, and more.

The Dead Daisies will release their new studio album, Radiance , on September 30th. The album's title track has already been released.
