In an interview during the Hellfest festival last week, bassist Glenn Hughes Black Sabbath album he recorded with Tony Iommi, "Seventh Star":
"Tony is one of my best friends. I made three albums with him. I had great times with him. And I'm proud of 'Seventh Star'. I didn't sound like Ozzy and I didn't sound like Dio, who I love very much. I'm a fan of the other singers, but I'm proud of my work with Tony. But I'm a different person than I was."
Regarding the possibility of working with Tony Iommi again:
“Tony and I talk, or get together, every year, and we look at each other and say, ‘Should we do another one?’ and it’s almost like a joke, but you never know, because we’re really good friends and we work very, very well together. But more importantly than that, what I want is for Tony’s health to be great. Tony is doing very well. He’s very happy. He has a great family. And the most important thing about Tony is that I want him to be here on this planet alive, and I would be honored to do another album with him. But in the real world, we have to wait and see.”.
