Glen Matlock , a former member of the Sex Pistols , is touring England presenting his new album, Good To Go .

Original bassist and main songwriter for the Sex Pistols, Matlock is responsible for writing some of the most iconic songs in history. Among them, "Anarchy In The UK", "God Save The Queen" and "Pretty Vacant".

After his time with the Sex Pistols, Matlock went on to form several acclaimed bands. These include Rich Kids and The Philistines . The musician also collaborated with major artists such as Iggy Pop , The Spectre , Hot Club , Wendy James , and Viv Albertine . Glen Matlock is also a highly sought-after musician, playing live with artists such as the reformed Faces .

Throughout his illustrious career, the musician has released several albums, the most recent being Good To Go with legendary guitarist Earl Slick . In addition to singing, the musician composes his own lyrics and plays guitar on his songs.

Recently, at his last show in London, at the "Leytostone Ballroom," a venue where the Rolling Stones played in the 1960s, the musician presented new songs from his recent work as well as some hits from the Sex Pistols.

This isn't the first time Glen Matlock has given an exclusive interview to Wikimetal. In 2014, Nando Machado visited the musician's home where he shared some of his story:

Now in London, Glen warmly welcomed the Wikimetal crew and spoke about his new album and the inspiration behind his lyrics. Many of his songs are about past romantic relationships and current political situations in England. He also shared what motivates him to keep touring.

After touring the UK, Glen Matlock and his band will head to Finland and then the United States, where they already have some shows scheduled. And we hope that one day he will come to Brazil.
