After having to cancel the festival for the second consecutive year, the Glastonbury organization announced this Wednesday, the 31st, that it will hold an exclusive global live stream on Saturday, May 22nd – for the first time in its history.

Filmed at Worthy Farm, where the festival takes place, the event will see a number of artists performing in support of the festival, including Coldplay, Damon Albarn, Haim, IDLES, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice and DJ Honey Dijon.

The event will also feature a series of unannounced surprise performances and will support Glastonbury's three main charitable partners: Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid, as well as helping to ensure the Festival's return in 2022.

The online version will feature five hours of performances and special guests, and tickets are already on sale at this link starting at $27.50 (approximately R$160).
