Gilby Clarke hasn't released a solo album since 2003.
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke said he is "very excited" to release his new solo album. "I haven't done one of these since 2003, so it's been a long time coming," he said in an interview.
“I can’t make an album unless I feel good about the songs. I want to make an album that I want to listen to,” he continued. “So, these songs excite me a lot. They’re new, but they’re classic rock. I played all the guitars and sang on all the songs. I think it’s a great new approach to classic rock.”
Asked when fans can expect to hear the new album, he said, “I think in May. May is the plan. This has been dragging on for a few years. The deal is closed. I hope it will be in May.”
The album will feature guest appearances from members of Clarke's solo band, such as EJ Curse (bass) and Troy Patrick Farrell (drums).
