Band beats Slipknot and Lamb Of God
Ghost won the Grammy today in the "Best Metal Performance" category. The band was nominated for the song "Cirice," which is part of their latest album, "Meliora.".
The nominees in the category were Augusta Burns Red, Lamb Of God, Sevendust, and Slipknot.
In his acceptance speech, band leader Papa Emeritus III commented: “Hello. We are Ghost. Thank you so much for this. This is a big deal for us, obviously. And you know, the nightmare has become a dream. So… Thank you all for this. Thank you to everyone involved, and thank you for voting. Now celebrate!”
