Hot news from Ghost being confirmed directly by Tobias Forge : according to him, the successor to Prequelle will arrive at the end of 2021, with the band entering the studio in January, and a tour planned for the album's release.
The information was announced by the artist in an interview on October 16th with Sweden Rock Magazine directly from Sweden, where he is writing and doing pre-production for the album. “The plan now is to stay here [in the studio] writing for another two months until Christmas. The idea is that the album will be recorded in January. The actual recording will last about six weeks, and then there will be two to three weeks of mixing and mastering. So, sometime in March, the album should be finished, but it won't be released until after the summer [in the Northern Hemisphere].”
“As it looks now, knock on wood, so we’ll be going on tour. We won’t release an album until we know if we’ll actually be touring,” he reveals and reinforces. “The album release will coincide with the start of a tour. Of course, we could announce the album release date and then, for some reason, it might not be possible to tour, but that’s another matter.”
