Ghost has released a cover of "Stay" by the Shakespears Sisters , featuring actor Patrick Wilson track is part of the soundtrack for the film Insidious: The Red Door , the fifth film in the Insidious .

Patrick is the director of the film, which has been showing in Brazilian cinemas since last Thursday, the 6th, and also starred in it. Explaining the concept behind choosing Ghost for the track, Patrick commented:

“I wanted a band that embodied the spirit of 'Insidious,' and I knew where to find them. 'Stay' is a hauntingly beautiful song to end the film with, because the dark lyrics juxtaposed with the captivating melody, composed by Dave Stewart, provide a great conclusion to the movie. Singing on the song, alongside Tobias, was very emotional.”

“I wanted it to sound like my character, Josh Lambert, singing and then being tempted by the devil, in this case, the brilliant Tobias Forge. Tobias’s tone provides a stark contrast to mine, and his new arrangement of the song is faithful to the original, yet modern. Ghost is the perfect blend of theatricality and musical mastery. Tobias is giving his all, and I’m thrilled to have him on the film’s soundtrack and honored to sing alongside him.”
