The singer attended the event dressed similarly to a Pope, and the band joked about it

Last Monday, May 7th, in New York City, one of the biggest events in the art world took place: the Met Gala 2018. Organized by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the gala raises funds for the museum and transforms into a fashion show where various artists use their looks to send a message.

This year the central theme of the event was the Catholic Church, and among the various costumes, the one that stood out was pop singer Rihanna Ghost fans , and the band itself joined in the fun, posting a video on their official Instagram account where the singer is seen posing for the camera to the sound of "Rats," the group's new single recently released.

"We would like to inform you that imitation is the sincerest form of homage," read the message from Ghost. Check out the post below.

Ghost is currently preparing for the release of the album Prequelle , which will be released on June 1st by Spinefarm/Loma Vista Recordings and will mark the debut of their new frontman, Cardinal Copia.
