2022 American Music Awards were announced last Thursday, the 13th . Among the rock and metal names, Måneskin stood out, being nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo or Band.
In the Best Rock Artist category, the nominees were Imagine Dragons, Machine Gun Kelly, Måneskin, Red Hot Chili Peppers , and The Lumineers . In the Best Rock Song category, the nominees were Foo Fighters with “Love Dies Young”, Imagine Dragons with “Enemy”, Kate Bush with “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)”, Måneskin with “Beggin’”, and Red Hot Chili Peppers with “Black Summer”.
The nominees for Best Rock Album were Coldplay with Music of the Spheres , Ghost with Impera, Imagine Dragons with Mercury – Act 1, Machine Gun Kelly with mainstream sellout , and Red Hot Chili Peppers with Unlimited Love. Another highlight was The Rolling Stones , nominated for Best Touring Artist.
