The Swedes returned with the successor to Meliora (2015)
After much mystery surrounding who would be Ghost and what the band's new phase would be like, the Swedish group finally released Prequelle , their new studio album.
Released through Loma Vista Recordings, the ten tracks form the band's fourth studio album and the successor to Meliora (2015). Prequelle was recorded at Artery Studios in Stockholm, Sweden with the help of producer Tom Dalgety ( Opeth , Royal Blood ). The mixing was done across the map in Hollywood at Westlake Studios with Andy Wallace, known for his work with Nirvana and Slayer .
Prequelle introduces Cardinal Copia , the new alter ego of vocalist Tobias Forge, who carries the mantle of his predecessor, Papa Emeritus III. The frontman changes every time the band releases a new studio album.
