Ghost's new frontman makes his first appearance at a show
The band Ghost played a short, acoustic set at a private event in Chicago, USA. The performance, which only included 3 songs, featured the premiere of the single "Rats," which will be on their new album, and introduced their new vocalist, Cardinal Copia, who replaced Papa Emeritus III. The last Papa, Emeritus III, was forcibly removed from the stage during the final show of the Meliora tour. The new alter ego of vocalist Tobias Forge will make its official debut on May 5th.
Tobias spoke to Revolver magazine about the new album: “It’s based on the theme of death and darkness. Its theme is basically the Middle Ages with a mix of current issues.”
