Ghost the Pet Shop Boys , on all streaming services this Friday, the 16th
The band had announced the release in a new chapter of their online video series. They also clarified that the released version is the same one originally included as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of the 2018 album Prequelle – and that until now it was only available on the physical version of the album.
Chapter 24 continues to narrate the events involving the band's former vocalist, Frater Imperator (also known as Papa Emeritus IV and Cardinal Copia – meet all the characters in the band's universe here ). And, this time, it explores his nefarious plan to release a cover of a song from his era – in this case, "It's a Sin" – after being sidelined with the rise of the group's newest vocalist, Papa V Perpetua.
Through this chapter, Ghost also clarified that a new EP of covers is not in production, stating that this type of project is not currently under development.
