Get the Shot released their newest single, “Season of the Damned II,” this Thursday, the 15th. The track is part of the album Merciless Destruction , scheduled for release on October 7th by New Damage Records.
Speaking about the album's closing track, the group commented in a press statement: “Anyone who has listened to our records for a while knows that the closing track on all of our albums is different from the rest of the songs. It always has a more melodic and epic vibe.”
“'Season of the Damned II' is no different and concludes the new album on a sublime but painful note. As fire ends in ashes, the most violent recording of the year had to close with the most tragic metal ballad.”
“Season of the Damned II” follows the singles “Divination of Doom” , “Deathbound” featuring Rob Watson , “Survival Denied” and “Bloodbather” with Matthias Tarnath.
