Get The Shot 's hardcore sound continues with surprising intensity and depth in their new single. The song "Survival Denied" offers a sociological and philosophical reflection on the brutality of human existence.

Just like in the previous single, Nietzsche ’s concept of resentment , there are two great thinkers behind the inspiration for “Survival Denied”: the song explores the observations of Thomas Hobbes (“Man is wolf to man”) and Arthur Schopenhauer , portraying life as a perpetual struggle for mere existence with the certainty of ultimately losing it.

With elements of metal interwoven into hardcore aggression, a characteristic of the band that explores new possibilities in extreme music without abandoning the Do It Yourself (DIY) roots of music.

“In a world that glorifies the pursuit of self-interest and disregards cooperation, everyone becomes a potential enemy, a persecutor in power. There is no way to lead a good existence in such an alienated and self-destructive life,” the band comments.

The track was released last Thursday, the 16th, accompanied by a music video and is already available on all streaming platforms .
