To celebrate the 50th anniversary of George Harrison , All Things Must Pass , Capitol and UMe will release a commemorative anniversary edition on August 6th, including a gigantic box set with 8 LPs, 5 CDs, and a Blu-Ray.
As part of the unreleased and exclusive material to be released, the definitive version of the song "Cosmic Empire" was recently released. This song had never been officially released, but was already known to the public through occasional appearances on bootlegs. The version now available on digital platforms was produced by Harrison's son, Dhani . Listen at the end of this post.
The uber deluxe edition of All Things Must Pass will also include the original album, 47 demos, rare tracks, and two books: a 96-page scrapbook by Harrison's widow, Olivia , and another 44-page book with interviews and notes from his personal archive.
