New album is expected in September
Operation: Mindcrime, Geoff Tate's band, has announced that it will release its first album, titled 'The Key', on September 18th. Tate's band includes John Moyer (Disturbed), Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy), Randy Gane (Myth), Kelly Gray (Queensrÿche), and Scott Moughton.
'The Key' will be part of a trilogy of albums that Tate announced last year. The project includes special guest appearances by musicians, one of them being David Ellefson from Megadeth.
