Geoff Tate's band will release a trilogy of albums

New work is expected in 2015

The lead singer of the newly named Operation: Mindcrime, Geoff Tate, revealed details of his upcoming projects in an interview. The former Queensrÿche singer said he plans to release a trilogy of albums in 2015.

The project, which Tate has been working on for the past three years, is described by him as "complex" and "with very melodic content." "It's a bittersweet story that takes place in various locations around the world, including Asia, South America, and Europe. There are elements of these places in the music ," explained the vocalist.

The band Operation: Mindcrime also features Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake), Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio), Randy Gane (Myth), Kelly Gray (Queensrÿche), and Robert Sarzo (Queensrÿche).
