Singer Geoff Tate , formerly of Queensrÿche , was scheduled to come to Brazil in August, but his commitments will need to be postponed for a few months because the singer will undergo heart surgery. The tour that was scheduled to take place in August of this year throughout Latin America, and which included a grand performance in São Paulo on August 6th, had to be postponed to January and February 2023 at the artist's request and due to an emergency heart surgery to be performed this June. According to his surgeon, the procedure will force the vocalist to step away from the stage for several months.
