Gentle Savage has released their debut album, Midnight Waylay, featuring nine tracks and showcasing the power of 70s rock.
The album, which you can listen to in its entirety below, came with a video for "Personal Hades," the album's single, which shows Tornado Bearstone (vocals), Jay B (drums), Vance Bead (bass), Tim O'Shore (guitar), and Theo van Boom (keyboards) on stage.
Midnight Waylay addresses several important topics for the group, but the single “Personal Hades” carries an important message that the band likes to highlight. “'Personal Hades' is a story about mental and spiritual suffering,” says vocalist Tornado. “With no light at the end of the tunnel, the narrator walks through the lands of Hades and cries out for salvation.”
"Hades, here, is used as a metaphor for the mental landscape that exists within each of us when we face a moment of despair. Welcome to the Land of Hades!"
