Genocidio released the single “Fort Conviction” on streaming platforms on Tuesday, the 4th. This is the title track from their upcoming studio album, Fort Conviction , which also comes with a visualizer.

The song opens the album, which will be released on April 5th by Wikimetal Music on digital platforms, with a physical version available through Urubuz Records .

The veteran Brazilian metal band also released a version of the hit “Never Tear Us Apart ,” a classic by the Australian New Wave/Pop Rock group INXS . The track features a visualizer video developed by bassist Wanderley Perna .

Recordings for the album Fort Conviction began in March 2023, produced by Marco Nunes , who had previously worked on the album The Clan (2010).
