The band Genocídio , veterans of São Paulo's death metal scene, announced last Wednesday, the 26th, Herbert Loureiro will be their new drummer, joining a new lineup and phase for the group.
In a press release, the band explains that Levi Tavares , the former drummer, left due to personal reasons. "We thank him for the shows we played and for his exuberant performance on the album Fort Conviction . We wish him good luck in his future projects."
Hebert Loureiro, who previously played in the bands Siegrid Ingrid and SICK , and along with members Murillo Leite (vocals, guitar), Wellington Simões (guitar), and Wanderley Perna (bass), forms this new phase of the band, continuing the promotion of their recent 10th album, Fort Conviction (2024, Wikimetal Music).
Hebert's debut will take place on August 4th at the Be Magic Fest 2024 festival in Rio de Janeiro.
