After Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID-19, KISS has now released a statement announcing that the next four shows on their tour will be postponed and that Gene Simmons has also tested positive and is experiencing “mild symptoms.” The statement follows:
“KISS will be postponing their next four tour dates. While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he has recovered from COVID, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms. The band and crew will remain at home in isolation for the next 10 days, and doctors have indicated that we can resume the tour on September 9th at the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates when they are announced. Further information will be sent directly to ticket holders via email.”
Recently, the band had decided not to hold meet & greets during the KISS tour due to safety concerns. "This is for the fans and for us too. If a fan infects any of us, the whole tour is canceled, the insurance company goes crazy, and everyone files lawsuits," said Gene Simmons.
