The musician performed “Deuce” and “Shout It Out Loud” in Nashville
Gene Simmons , bassist and vocalist of Kiss , joined Thee Rock n' Roll Residency in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, to perform the classics "Deuce" and "Shout It Out Loud".
Thee Rock N' Roll Residency is a popular cover band that often features guest appearances by artists such as Alice Cooper, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, and Roger Glover of Deep Purple. The band's founders, Jeremy Asbrock and Phillip Shouse, were hired by Simmons to be part of one of his tours.
Recently, the legendary Kiss musician stated that he will release a book called 27: The Legend and Mythology of the 27 Club in August. The book promises to deconstruct the myth of stars who commit suicide at age 27. For decades, the list of celebrities who are part of the "27 Club" has only grown. Just a few examples are Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse. "Frances Bean, Kurt Cobain's daughter, is a friend of my son. 'Hey, it's really cool that your dad died from drugs while you're still a baby.' No, it's not. It sucks," Simmons said in an interview with Wrif .
