Bassist Gene Simmons played his first solo show on the 18th, shortly after the announcement of the death of legendary guitarist Chuck Berry. Simmons took a moment during the show to pay tribute to the musician, in an unscripted performance of the classic "Johnny B. Goode".
Gene Simmons' band features guitarists Phil Souse and Ryan Cook, bassist Jeremy Asbrock, and drummer Jarred Pope.
