The lawsuit against Gene Simmons is underway in Los Angeles
The San Bernardino Sun reported that Kiss bassist Gene Simmons is being sued for sexual harassment by a journalist who claims he made sexual advances during an interview in early November and that he later groped her buttocks.
The lawsuit, which is being processed in a Los Angeles court with the journalist's identity kept secret, reveals that the harassment occurred in a restaurant during an interview with the two founders of Kiss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
The lawsuit alleges that Gene grabbed the reporter's hand and "forcibly placed it on his knee ." After she removed her hand, he allegedly grabbed it again, saying that "she should use lotion ." The bassist also grabbed the journalist's neck.

Gene Simmons issued a statement today claiming his innocence:
"Friends, I intend to defend myself against these alleged accusations that you must have seen in the press. Just to be clear, I did not harass the person making these accusations and I did not cause her any harm of any kind. I am meeting with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously refuting these accusations. And I am looking forward to the day of the trial when the evidence will prove my innocence.".
