Gene Simmons , bassist and vocalist of Kiss , participated in The HoneyDew and spoke about his investments and financial organization. He credits this aptitude to his late mother, who helped him understand the importance of valuing money.
Benjamin Franklin 's phrase "A penny saved is a penny earned .
Provocatively addressing the difference in views on economics between cultures, he compares how a non-Jew who saves money is seen as "frugal," while a Jew might be labeled "stingy." Simmons then rebuts the criticism (transcribed via Blabbermouth ):
"When someone says I'm stingy, I say, 'Thanks. I'm smart, you bum. See you at the end.'"
For Simmons, the best revenge against those who doubt him is success and prosperity. “The best revenge is making them work for you. That’s the best revenge. Stay focused. Work hard, work harder than your neighbor. Accumulate your fortune, whatever it may be. And living well is the best revenge.”
And he continues: “My finances are in order to provide for the next two or three generations. That’s why it’s necessary to diversify… So, I’m in cryptocurrencies, real estate, stocks, bonds, futures, and commodities.”

Gene Simmons talks about his children and inheritance.
For Gene, it's only fair that his children also learn the value of money for themselves. Therefore, they should forge their own path and not depend on their parents.
“Neither Nick nor Sophie ever received — what’s it called? — an allowance, the kind where you give your children money for free,” he said. “No. You want money? You have to do something. Do this. I don’t know — mow the lawn, clean this, do that. Then you understand the value of it. And then you don’t have to say ‘thank you.’ You don’t owe anyone money.”
