Kiss has been around for 45 years

Gene Simmons spoke in an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times about a possible farewell tour for Kiss. Rumors surfaced after news that the band had trademarked the phrase "The End Of The Road".

“There will be [a farewell] at some point,” he said. “We can’t keep playing forever. We’re the hardest working band in show business. If [Mick] Jagger put on my dragon boots, he wouldn’t last half an hour.” Simmons also said that “We don’t want to stay on stage one more day than we feel we’re good enough to go on… Remember, we performed as ‘You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest band in the world’ and not ‘We used to be the best’.”
