Gene Simmons explains why he will never work with Vinnie Vincent again.

"I don't want these losers in my life."

Gene Simmons revealed in an interview with The Aquarian Weekly that he will not work with Vinnie Vincent again, saying that he doesn't need "losers" in his life.

Vincent replaced guitarist Ace Frehley in 1982 and played with the band for two years. He left the band after a disagreement with Simmons and Paul Stanley.

“He’s very talented. Everyone has their problems in life. You can’t fix everything. I strongly support his talent. You know, have a good life, have fun, be happy. But I don’t need any more dark clouds in my life. (…) When you use drugs and drink alcohol and all that stuff, it’s always someone else’s fault. You’re always the victim. You’re never in control and I’m tired of it. I don’t tolerate any of that. I don’t want those losers in my life.”

Simmons concludes by saying that Vincent is a great musician, but "he has to suffer the consequences of his actions.".
