The woman said the musician treated her inappropriately during an interview.
Kiss bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons is trying to put behind him a sexual harassment accusation as he signs an agreement with the victim, according to information from The Blast .
Simmons was accused of harassment by a journalist in December 2017 because of an interview he gave a month earlier where, according to the woman's account, the singer groped her and flirted inappropriately and unwantedly.
"She sued him because she wanted to send a clear message that this behavior is unacceptable and that she doesn't want to see this type of behavior anymore," the defense said in court.
According to the presenter, he tried to grab her hands and placed them on his knee, in addition to holding her by the neck and making sexually suggestive comments while she was interviewing him.
In the proceedings, he faced charges of harassment, gender-based violence, mistreatment, and assault. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed to the press, and Simmons denies the accusations.
