Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley perform together at The Vault Experience event.

The former colleagues reunited for an intimate performance.

Gene Simmons launched his project The Vault Experience last Saturday, the 6th, at Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California, where he was accompanied by his former Kiss bandmate, Ace Frehley.

A recording of the event shows Simmons and Frehley chatting and playing for fans, marking the second time they have performed together in 16 years. The first time was at The Children Matter benefit concert, which supports victims of Hurricane Harvey, on September 20, 2017.

Gene Simmons: The Vault Experience is a tour where the musician will visit several cities around the world in 2018, delivering a limited edition box set. Inside, there are 150 previously unreleased items, including unreleased music and collectibles, as well as a personal item belonging to the musician himself, which has not yet been revealed.

The event includes a one-on-one meet-and-greet with Simmons for autographs and a group session for fans to ask the musician questions. In Brazil, the meet-and-greet will take place on May 19th and 20th, 2018, and costs $2,000. More information can be found here .
