Anthrax is supporting Slayer on their farewell tour
Testament drummer Gene Hoglan Anthrax shows , filling in for Charlie Benante .
Benante was forced to skip some shows due to wrist problems. "It's okay now, after two or three weeks of touring, I need to rest a bit and then come back," he said in an interview earlier this year.
It is not the first time that Hoglan has replaced Benante. In 2012, the drummer stepped aside for family reasons.
The band is touring alongside Slayer on their farewell tour, along with Lamb Of God , Testament, and Behemoth .
