Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler joined Foo Fighters for a special performance of the song "Paranoid" during the band's final tour show on June 27th in the UK. The performance took place in Birmingham, England, where Black Sabbath originated.
Butler took control during the song at Villa Park while Dave Grohl put his guitar aside to mimic the movements Ozzy Osbourne made while singing.
When it came time for the bassist to take over, Grohl said (transcribed via Blabbermouth ): “He’s never seen a show here. He’s never played a show here. So we thought, something special for us and hopefully special for him too, we’d invite him, come play a song with us, ladies and gentlemen, Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath.”

Shane Hawkins , son of Taylor Hawkins, also made an appearance during the show to sing the song "This Is a Call".
