The band arrives in Brazil this month.

In an interview with the website Austin 360, Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler was asked about Black Sabbath's longevity, and whether the band's duration was unexpected:

“When we started, we didn’t expect it to last more than a few years, much less 50 years. I never thought it would be a lifelong career. It’s been very gratifying for me to know that we’ve influenced so many bands, and that we remain relevant after so much time.”

Asked about what life will be like after Black Sabbath, Butler reflected:

“It will be bittersweet. It was a great achievement to have lasted so long and to have remained relevant. It’s something to be proud of, but my life will be very empty without the band. I hope our music lasts for a long time, even after our end.”
