Butler posted an apology on Twitter
Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler posted a tweet apologizing to drummer Bill Ward for being mistaken in his last statement about the musician's absence from the band's last tour.
In an interview with Radio.com, Butler had stated that Ward was invited to participate in the band's last show in the US, and that the drummer had refused. On his official Facebook page, Ward responded that the offer was never made, saying, "I need to respond once again to Geezer's comments. I never received an offer to do the show."
So today, Butler posted on his Twitter , "Apparently Bill was never invited to play at the last show – my mistake. Sorry @billwarddrums."
