Geddy Lee talks about new Rush music.

The musician commented that he plans to reunite with Alex Lifeson.

Geddy Lee spoke about future plans for Rush and tried to explain that new music with Alex Lifeson is a possibility, but not a concrete fact.

In an interview with CTV Morning Live , the musician explained ( via Ultimate Classic Rock ): “If I say anything about working with Alex, people assume Rush is getting back together. That’s not the case. Yes, Alex and I still like each other a lot. We hang out a lot. And we both have a desire to try writing songs together. We don’t know if that will come to fruition or not.”

He continues: “If it bears fruit, great. Then we can release some music. If – that’s always an ‘if’ there; but when people publish articles about it, they leave the ‘if’ out. So, yes, I intend to meet with Al and we plan to write some songs, but we don’t know if they’ll be good, so we’ll see what happens.”
