Gangrena Gasosa is confirmed for the festival with Ratos de Porão and Black Pantera, and more.

This is a large festival in Belo Horizonte that will take place in 2023.

Gangrena Gasosa 's work pace was intense. They released three singles and performed numerous highly successful shows in almost every region of Brazil, including a headlining performance at Espaço Favela, one of the stages at Rock in Rio , which was televised on Canal BIS. For 2023, the band intends to continue in this vein.

The first date on the 2023 calendar has just been confirmed: Gangrena Gasosa will be one of the attractions at the Bloco dos Camisas Preta – Special 10 Years , celebrating the group's decade of existence, on February 11th. In addition to Gangrena Gasosa, the bands Ratos de Porão , Black Pantera , Machete Bomb , Virna Lisi , Pense , Mad Chicken , Pesta , Shiron the Iron and Loss . The festival will be held at Expominas BH (Av. Amazonas, 6200).

Gangrena Gasosa plans to release a new music video soon for their acclaimed single "Boteco-Teco ." The song was released this year on digital platforms and was one of the highlights of the band's show at Rock in Rio.

Gangrena Gasosa had a busy year, with tours and new releases available on digital platforms: “Rei do Cemitério”, “Headboomer” and the most recent “Boteco-Teco”. These tracks are expected to be included on their next studio album, to be released in 2023.

The band's current lineup features vocalists Angelo Arede (Zé Pelintra) and Davi Stermimiun (Omulu), bassist Diego Padilha (Exu Tranca Rua), percussionist Ge Vasconcelos (Pombagira Maria Navalha), guitarist Minoru Murakami (Exu Caveira), and drummer Alex Porto (Exu Tiriri). Representing the underground side of Brazilian cultural expression, the group blends metal and hardcore with elements of Umbanda.
