The new vocalist is Frank Beck.
Gamma Ray announced this weekend that they will be adding a new vocalist to their lineup, singer Frank Beck. The band posted a statement on their official Facebook page. Check it out:
"The band has decided to continue working with two vocalists for several good reasons. From now on, we will have Mr. Kai Hansen on vocals as always, and Mr. Frank Beck, with whom we have already done several shows in the past. We think Frank is not only a great singer who fits very well with the band, but also a great human being who is willing to meet our expectations. This guy can not only sing, he's also good at having a good time, and that's very important. That's the first reason. Another important reason is that Kai felt it was time to cut back on his performance a bit, as he realized that touring, especially headlining shows, tends to wear down his voice in the end, and we end up with something that isn't 100%. So sharing vocals is easier and more enjoyable. This will give the band a new dimension of sound and vocals, but also (and this is reason number 3), it will give Kai the freedom to move more on stage and add more action to our live performances, and play guitar more, something he really enjoys.
