Gaerea surprised fans with the release of their new single “Submerged” this Tuesday, the 12th. The single arrives less than a year after the release of their acclaimed album Coma (2024).
The Portuguese band also announced, via social media , their partnership with the record label Century Media Records , after years with Season of Mist .
Despite releasing a surprise song and signing with a new record label, there's no announcement yet of a new album. The band continues its European tour titled Su8m3r91ng Summer Tour , a rather ominous name.
“Submerged” delivers Gaerea’s signature atmospheric black metal, while also venturing into more experimental metalcore styles.
