Funko releases new Queen figures for "I Want to Break Free"

The brand announced its latest additions to the Pops collection, including three different items related to the English band

Last Thursday, the 8th, Funko Queen fans with the newest release in the Pop collection. In total, the brand announced three new, never-before-seen packs of collectible figures entirely focused on the English band.

Among the new features, the standout is the one that shows Freddie Mercury , Brian May , John Deacon , and Roger Taylor dressed according to the famous 1984 music video for "I Want to Break Free." The video, which was banned from airing by MTV in the US, featured all the members of the rock group dressed as women, conceived as a parody of the British soap opera Coronation Street.

The second pack maintains the format of the first, featuring all the band members, but in a different context. In this case, the Funko Pops depict Queen in one of their most memorable concerts at Wembley Stadium in London in 1986.

The third release features only Freddie Mercury. The band's vocalist has received yet another new version of the collectible figures, but this time dressed according to his appearance in the music video for his 1985 solo single, "I Was Born to Love You".
