This Thursday, May 5th, Freddie Mercury would have turned 73, and in homage to the iconic Queen , an animated and moving video for the 1985 track "Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow" was released.

The video was made in partnership with the Mercury Phoenix Trust and shows a homosexual couple, one of whom has been diagnosed with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. The audiovisual work will be included in the box set announced on the same day , which will bring together all of Mercury's solo career releases.

Speaking about the music video, directors Esteban Bravo and Beth David explained: “It’s a subject that needed to be handled very carefully. The line between clarifying an issue and perpetuating a stigma is thin, and we were cautious not to rely on stereotypes that could harm modern understanding of the AIDS virus.”
